For this special edition of Behind the Seams, we welcomed fashion students from SUNY Buffalo for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the Kith Women store in SoHo. The visit offered students an inside look at the business of retail and brand storytelling, from operations to visual presentation.
Our Women’s Store Director, Alani Noelle, and General Manager, Angelica Suriel, shared insights on leadership, customer experience, and what it takes to run a retail store. Students also had the unique opportunity to connect with Visual Merchandising Manager and SUNY Buffalo alum Morgan Powell, who walked them through her creative process explaining how every detail in the store design is intentional and reflects our brand’s vision.
The experience also highlighted how essential retail work is, not just as a career path, but as a vital part of the fashion ecosystem. Retail professionals bring brands to life, creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences for every customer who walks through the door. This opportunity gave students a firsthand look at how passion, creativity, and strategy come together to shape the world of fashion retail.
